Tommy Carpenter's latest release leans towards rock and roll but brings in classic country tastes with a wide range of guitar styles. What appears is an amalgamation of country and rock and roll balancing a light and relaxing vocal performance. The album offers a wide appeal to listeners that cannot settle for one style of music. Tailwinds brings together an experienced group of contributing artists with Ed Carpenter (Acoustic guitar), Chris White (Bass), Jeff Narkiewicz (Bass), Mike Chaney (Drums), Dana Walsh (Guitars), Ed Woltil (Guitars, backing vocals) and Christian Greene (Backing vocals).

Tailwinds was recorded at DEG Studios (Saint Petersburg, FL) and engineered by Dana Walsh. Additional tracks were recorded at Lone Wolf Studios (Elkins, WV) by Seth Maynard and Tune Tree Studio (Largo, FL) by Ed Woltil.
